I could not think of a more stunning location that the Ritz Carlton Beach Club on Lido Key to do a surprise proposal. I was so happy to be able to capture Chris getting down on one knee and proposing to Katie. Ben & Molly’s South Lido Beach Proposal was so beautiful! Two chicks and a picnic set up a beautiful boho themed picnic for them complete with roses and a sign that said Molly will you marry me.  It was a complete surprise to Molly, I was so glad I got the chance to be there for this big moment in their lives.

I absolutely love Siesta Key Beach sessions but when they are a surprise proposal mid session, its extra special. Dallas let me in on the plan to propose to Katie a few months back and I could not wait to capture that moment! These two are so sweet. Wishing them all the best in their future and wedding planning. I can’t tell how excited I am to finally be sharing this beautiful proposal! It was a lot of planning to make perfect, the location I had to change due to red tide but all worked out for the best! Behind the scenes, Jeff’s brother and I made many circles around the busy rooftop bar to pick the right location that wasnt in the sun. We tried to reserve this big couch overlooking Marina Jacks and got up as soon we got the text that they were on their way up. The plan was for Jeff, Alex & her parents to come in and sit down. I would go over to them and say I worked for the hotel’s social media and wanted to take a photo. Jeff would get down on one knee.  Then an extra surprise of HIS parents would come out (they had flown down for the proposal) and the rest would be history. It worked perfectly and by the time it was done the whole rooftop was clapping! What an amazingly sweet night with this couple and their family. I can’t wait to see where their love story takes them. I couldn’t be more excited to share Emily  & Ian’s Siesta Key Beach proposal session. This was a long time coming. Ian wrote me a few months ago  inquiring about proposing to his girlfriend but I stopped hearing from him after a while. I got a message from his girlfriend Emily asking about a couple’s session that she wanted to book with her boyfriend. She had no idea he had written me already, she just ended up picking the same photographer he was talking to. What a small world. Anyhow, she booked her own surprise proposal session. We were suppose to shoot at sunset but had to move the session up to sunrise because of hurricane Elsa. It worked out so perfectly, as it was nice weather and hardly anyone was on the beach at the time. Thanks so much for letting me capture this moment for you guys. Hope you enjoy the full gallery!
