Starting this week super thankful!
So excited to announce JVK Photography winning The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2021 for the second year in a row. This year was extremely trying, seeing brides having to postpone or go micro with their dream weddings and trying to accommodate the best I could, running a small business during a pandemic and trying to stay afloat during the four months of lockdown gave me more than enough grey hairs and anxiety.
Thank you thank you thank you! to all my amazing brides/brides to be, I certainly could not have done this with out any of you! I had the pleasure of going to Casperson Beach down in Venice Florida to capture some beach photos for the Pardo Family. What a sweet and photogenetic bunch! The colors they wore matched the sky perfectly as you can see! If you’ve never done family beach photos before I highly recommend doing them, you can have so much fun with them. 🙂
This is a photo session I look forward to every year! The Ellis Family Christmas Session. I love capturing families/seniors/engagement photos at Bay Oaks Preserve. It’s so quiet and beautiful with all the trees and right on the water. I loved seeing Cameron and Kyla and catching up with mom and dad. Enjoy your sneak peeks!
I love shooting weddings at the Sarasota Garden Club, I don’t shoot there nearly as often as I would like to. Kate & Andrew said “I do” under this handmade arch in the Garden surrounded by family. It could not have been more beautiful. I am so happy for you two! Hope you enjoy the sneak peeks.
So grateful for repeat clients, this is the second time I have captured this beautiful families photos! Last time we went to Siesta Key Beach but decided after ETA hit and flooded the beach that we should change our location, so Bay Oaks Preserve was the perfect second choice for tonight’s session! We really lucked out with the most beautiful night and lighting I’ve had in a while. I hope you four enjoy your sneak peek for now!

I love exploring & shooting downtown Sarasota and this session was no exception. Amber & Anthony were so sweet and fun to work with and they were down for pretty much any idea I came up with. I hope you guys are enjoying your gallery from this session.
On Saturday afternoon, Taylor and Adrian got married with some of their closest family members and friends on Seagrass Circle at the Sandbar. It turned out to be absolutely beautiful weather, after the rain we had earlier in the morning. Their two little boys were the absolutely sweetest and stole the show with their outfits. I had the pleasure of capturing Beth & Brad’s morning ceremony surrounded by family and a few friends yesterday and it was absolutely beautiful despite the downpour in the middle of ceremony! Their love for each other is so inspiring and the way Brad looked at Beth the whole time was so heart warming. All Brides deserved to be looked at the way he looked at her. I love checking out new locations with families, Anna Maria Island is absolutely gorgeous and I don’t get out there enough as it is. I loved meeting up with the sweet Bailey Family and capturing some beach photos for them. I hope you guys are loving your sneak peeks so far. Many more to come!
