The Larkin’s Family picked Siesta Key Beach for their family session and it could not have been more perfect. The sunset was magical and the kids were amazingly cute through the whole session. So excited to share this sneak peek with all of you from Jessica & Cameron’s beautiful wedding day on Siesta Key Beach. This ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends could not have been more beautiful! We lucked out with hardly any people on the beach which is unheard of during January usually, due to the cold weather and wind. Their color scheme of reds, orange and yellow was the first I’ve seen done at a wedding & I am obsessed! I hope it’s a new trend because it photographed SO well.

FINALLY! Get to share this sneak peek with you guys. This was my last Christmas session of the year and it was so much fun getting to capture the Fontaine Family for the first time! We went to Rothenbach Park and got some great pictures at the wooden bridge and then moved on to a simple field with beautiful lighting towards sunset. I hope everyone enjoys this sneak peek as much as I do! Can’t wait to capture their family again
Had the pleasure of capturing some Holiday photos for Sushi’s crew the Vu/Johnson Family a few weeks ago. Every time we try to go somewhere different, the weather wasn’t the best but we made it work even if there wasn’t a sunset. This in-home family Christmas session with the Hornes is everything! I look forward to this session every year and Olivia does a beautiful job decorating to make it feel so cozy. Little James is getting so big! It’s a lot different than last year as he wasn’t mobile and this year his mom, dad and I ran around after him the whole session. Merry Christmas Liv, Jay and James! Celery Fields never fails to amaze me. I always find a new location to take pictures there. I met up with the Barth Family for their yearly pictures. So excited to announce JVK Photography winning The Knot’s Best of Weddings 2021 for the second year in a row. This year was extremely trying, seeing brides having to postpone or go micro with their dream weddings and trying to accommodate the best I could, running a small business during a pandemic and trying to stay afloat during the four months of lockdown gave me more than enough grey hairs and anxiety.

I had the pleasure of going to Casperson Beach down in Venice Florida to capture some beach photos for the Pardo Family. What a sweet and photogenetic bunch! The colors they wore matched the sky perfectly as you can see! If you’ve never done family beach photos before I highly recommend doing them, you can have so much fun with them. 🙂
This is a photo session I look forward to every year! The Ellis Family Christmas Session. I love capturing families/seniors/engagement photos at Bay Oaks Preserve. It’s so quiet and beautiful with all the trees and right on the water. I loved seeing Cameron and Kyla and catching up with mom and dad. Enjoy your sneak peeks!
