Last nights family session at Lido Beach was beautiful! I hardly get to go to Lido Beach so it’s nice for a change of scenery 🙂 and new locations to explore. I loved meeting this family of 5 from Texas that were on a two week vacation all over Florida and getting all the tips on Austin traveling 🙂 Thanks! It was great to catch up with the Mcfadden/Long family for some extended family photos before celebrating Glenna [grandma’s] birthday over lunch. This family is so fun when they all get together. It’s officially Summer here and I am about to go into my wedding month of June but first I have a few family portrait sessions! I met up with Samantha and her family last night at Siesta Key Beach to capture some beach memories. It was so fun! Madison and Rory were so adorable and the perfect age. I have been getting more extended family sessions lately and I have to say I absolutely love it. Little cousins have such a special bond and can turn out to be some of the greatest friends you will ever have. I have no doubt these two girls will be close later in their lives. A huge congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs.! Cameron and Caglar are married!!! These two tied the knot surrounded by their closest friends and family in a beautiful backyard wedding at her parents house. Cameron was walked down the aisle by her mom and her dad, which is so sweet. I hardly ever see that happen. They had a stunning reception to follow at Lakewood Ranch Country Club where we took some photos, ate dinner and feasted on baklava all the way from Turkey that was out of this world!!!! When Josh contacted me by email in his search for a photographer on Siesta Key to capture the moment he asked his girlfriend to marry him and his plan for it, it was obvious he knew exactly what he was looking for! So last night, when he walked down the path towards the beach, hand in hand with his girlfriend ready to have a picnic dinner and watch the sunset, I knew it would be such a sweet session. She had no idea, I could tell. After a few minutes of reading her a note he wrote to her, he got down on one knee to a very surprised little lady…the rest is history. A surprise marriage proposal is always a mix of stress & excitement for the photographer but its near and dear to my heart and one of my favorite types of sessions to shoot. It’s been years (I won’t say how long, really) since I’ve attended prom so I was really excited to be able to attend Pineview’s Prom/Cobalt this weekend. These teens were so down to earth and fun to be around. If all the proms in this town are anything like this one, give them all to me I had a blast! Thanks Pineview 🙂 Hope to see you guys next year
Kristen + Jen had the absolute best chemistry together for their Siesta Key Beach engagement photos. These two came all the way from Kentucky and this was their first time to Siesta Key. I think I made them fans of the white beach and crystal blue water, I have a feeling they will be back. Seriously, alllll the heart eyes for these two! 9 months of sweetness with this little cutie! She rocks the serious look, she hates grass, loves herself a good leaf, she enjoys cell phones, snacks and clapping. She still lets her mama and I do these shoots with her and for that I am thankful because soon we will be running after her and hoping for one or two good photos. She’s growing up so fast! Next up is her one year old session which we are currently planning. Enjoy 🙂 Not pictured us dancing, clapping and singing baby shark over and over again to get her to look and clap back at us.
Meet Caitlynne & Robert: sweethearts who are now just months away from being husband and wife! Yesterday we met up at the Celery Fields for their engagement session. I met up with this beautiful mama to be at Beer Can Island on Longboat Key for some maternity photos! Isn’t she absolutely glowing? We had a wonderful time walking around the island to get many different photos. I can’t wait to meet your mini me Jess. Hope you are enjoying your full gallery 🙂
